I had tried a few other small scale models before I
found the Carisma. I had never even heard of them but found this
model at my LHS. This is what a small scale should be. Small
but no reduction in performance or quality. This things has a
tiny 8000kV brushless motor which can run on 2s and is insanely fast
when you do. It has 4WD and four wheel independent suspension and
can be upgraded with tiny aluminum shocks (which I did). The
performance is unbelievable. Obviously the off-road performance is
limited by the scale so you need o be on scale terrain, but even in
gravel it is quite capable. I highly recommend one of these for
indoor or outdoor fun. My only lament is that because the receiver
is integrated with the speed control you have to use the included
transmitter. It is a perfectly good transmitter, I would just
prefer to use my standard Spektrum.
