Apart from the standalone
Arctic Action theme from
1986,
vehicles designed for use in the snow were conspicuously absent from
the Technic lineup until 2007. From that point forward, tracked
snow vehicles would make an occasional appearance. The sets range
from snowmobiles to snow groomers to arctic exploration vehicles.
All of the sets in this category are distinctly different and cannot be
easily compared. All have moving tracks, but other features are
related to the specific type of model being represented.
I really like the
8263 snow groomer because it is so totally unlike any other model and is well done at a small scale.
