X-Maxx Project

The X-Maxx is the truck that got me into electric RC again. I already had an E-Revo but didn't drive it much for whatever reason. When I saw this huge thing, I saved up my pennies (a lot of them) and bought it through the mail. The box that arrived was enormous. On 8s, this truck is absolutely insane and I found a place to drive it pretty much every day. Wheelies on command and lots of speed on or off road. I don't think I broke much of anything despite the abuse I gave it. I did have to get the ESC replaced (under warranty) when I burned it out getting wet for some reason.

About a year later, I sold this. I had built a lot of other trucks by then and I found that this was too big. I couldn't really drive it in my yard, it required a trip to a park or school. When the battery died, it was also a real chore to carry it back to the car if I happened to be far away.
