Tamiya Rock Socker Project

Tamiya's Rock Crawler chassis is the CR-01 and I built one previously using the Unimog body.  In that case I invested absurd amounts of money to upgrade it to the maximum extent possible.  This resulted in a very lovely chassis that was really no better than when it started.  After I lost that one in the 2022 fire, I looked for a direct replacement but couldn't find one.  What I did find was the 58592 Rock Socker on the same chassis.  This time all those upgrades were long out of production (and I had learned my lesson to some extent) so I left the Rock Socker completely stock.  I did build it with 4-wheel steering like before.  I didn;t bother to photograph the whole build process this time because I already did that with the Unimog and this chassis is exactly the same (except that it comes with the barrel springs by default).
