I've installed the hinges for the hood. One of my hinges was defective: it had one of the links installed backwards. Since the links are riveted, they can't removed so I couldn't fix the problem. There is a tab on the link which is supposed to lock the hook in the open position, but I had to cut it off with my Dremel wheel because in the reversed position the hinge couldn't close.
